Comparison between all Bulgarian Universities that offer Medicine in English

There are six Universities in Bulgaria that offer Medicine in English. Let us begin with the similarities. All universities are quite prestigious. In each university the specialty Medicine in English lasts for six years and there is an entry exam in Biology and Chemistry. Of course, the diplomas issued by each medical University in Bulgaria are recognized all over Europe. Also, each medical University in Bulgaria has a student dormitory. Unfortunately, the acceptance rate for student loans is quite low as students apply directly to a bank in Bulgaria.

Inter HECS organized live sessions with current students from each medical University in Bulgaria where they talked about the respective University and the city they live in – you can watch all of them on our YouTube channel! If you want to apply at any of the medical Universities in Bulgaria, just contact us via [email protected] and we will take care of your application!

Sofia Medical University

Sofia Medical University is located in the city centre and is considered one of the most prestigious universities in Bulgaria. Tuition fees are 8000 EUR per year, the academic year starts in October.
