The first entrance exam for the 2026 intake at Plovdiv Medical University will be held on April 15, marking an important milestone for international applicants aiming to secure a place in the university’s English-taught programs.

This exam is intended for candidates applying to programs such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing, all offered in English. Due to the growing interest in these programs, more than 200 applicants are expected to take part in this first session.

To accommodate the high number of candidates, the exam will be conducted in both morning and afternoon sessions, ensuring that all participants have the opportunity to sit the test in a well-organized and comfortable environment.

The entrance exam includes: Biology, Chemistry, English (required only for certain applicants, depending on their qualifications). Candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of the scientific subjects, as competition continues to increase each year.

Within approximately one week after the exam, results will be released. At that time, the first batch of accepted students for the 2026 academic year will be announced, giving successful applicants an early advantage in securing their place.
