Bulgarian universities increasing the annual tuition fees

Increase in the tuition fees at Bulgarian universities

The team of Inter HECS has important news to share!

Following recent changes by the Ministry of Education in Bulgaria regarding the minimum requirements for the tuition fees of the Bulgarian universities, there has been an increase in the tuition fees starting from the 2023 / 2024 academic year. Please check our summary for the implemented changes:

Sofia Medical University:
– Medicine – 8000 EUR > 9000 EUR
– Dentistry – 8000 EUR > 9000 EUR
– Pharmacy – 6000 EUR (remaining the same)

Plovdiv Medical University:
– Medicine – 8000 EUR > 9000 EUR 
– Dentistry – 8000 EUR > 9000 EUR 
– Pharmacy – 6000 EUR (remaining the same)

Trakia University:
– Medicine – 7000 EUR > 7500 EUR for the first to fifth year and 7000 EUR for the final sixth year;
– Veterinary Medicine – 5100 EUR (remaining the same)

Pleven Medical University:
– Medicine – 7500 EUR > 8500 EUR for the first year and 7500 EUR for second to sixth year;
– Pharmacy – 6000 EUR > 8500 EUR

Varna Medical University:
– Medicine – 8000 EUR > 9000 EUR for first year and 8000 EUR for second to sixth year
– Dentistry – 8000 EUR > 9000 EUR for first year and 8000 EUR for second to sixth year
– Pharmacy – 6000 EUR (remaining the same)
