Did you know that representatives of some of the most prestigious Bulgarian universities are on their way to the Kingdom of Morocco? Following the invitation of the Ministry of Higher Education in the Kingdom of Morocco, there are several events held between 4th and 8th February 2023. They are initiated by the Ministry of Higher Education in the Kingdom of Morocco, H. E. Mrs. Zakia El Midaoui, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Bulgaria, H. E. Mr. Plamen Tsolov, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Kingdom of Morocco, the University of National and World Economy, represented by the university’s rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, and Inter HECS – Study in Bulgaria as the leading agency in the field of higher education in Bulgaria. The most important topics to be discussed will be the possible partnerships and cooperation between leading Bulgarian and Moroccan universities as well as attracting students from the Kingdom of Morocco to Bulgaria.

Representatives of several prestigious Bulgarian universities will attend the events, including: Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” (featuring Medicine Faculty as well as Pharmacy Faculty), Technical University – Sofia, National Sports Academy, University of National and World Economy, University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Agricultural University – Plovdiv, Trakia University – Stara Zagora (featuring Medicine  Faculty as well as Veterinary Medicine Faculty) and University “Prof. Asen Zlatarov”– Burgas. Of course, the management staff of Inter HECS – Study in Bulgaria will also be there to represent the advantages of Bulgarian higher education.

Many of the prospective students from Morocco are already interested in studying Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy in English and it is no surprise that Bulgaria seems as an attractive destination to achieve this goal – the affordable tuition fees and the high quality of education that Bulgaria attract more and more applicants every year! In addition, there is a high interest in the study program Psychology in English – this program is also available in Bulgaria!

Furthermore, the first week of February will be marked by important meetings with representatives of several institutions, incl. the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation in the Kingdom of Morocco, Mohammed V University in Rabat, Hassan II Institute of Agronomy & Veterinary Medicine – Rabat as well as Ibn Tofail University in Kénitra. Last but not least, the Bulgarian delegation will meet with the heads of the medical faculties of various universities in Morocco.

The goal is to open a Bulgarian educational centre in the Kingdom of Morocco that will represent the leading Bulgarian universities – this will be the right place for people from the Kingdom of Morocco to learn everything about the study requirements and programs offered in Bulgaria!
