Regional Ethnographic Museum
The Regional Ethnographic Museum in Plovdiv is one of the most beautiful museums in Bulgaria.
Address: Chomakov Str. 2, Plovdiv, Bulgaria
Working Hours: Tue – Sun, 9 AM to 5 PM
How to go? The museum is located in the Old Town of Plovdiv, which is a pedestrian zone so there is no line of public transport, which stops directly near it. Hence, you can either explore the pedestrian zone of Plovdiv or catch a taxi to reach the Old Town of Plovdiv.
Entrance Fee: adults – 6 BGN; students – 2 BGN
Guided Tours in English – 40 BGN

 

Antique Theater
The Ancient Theatre is one of the must-see stops in Plovdiv.

The Balabanov’s House is symbolic for the Bulgarian architecture and one of the must-visits in the Old Town of Plovdiv.

Museum of Pharmacy
If you are Pharmacy student in Bulgaria you should definitely visit this place!

How to go? The museum is located in the Old Town of Plovdiv, which is a pedestrian zone so there is no line of public transport, which stops directly near it. Hence, you can either explore the pedestrian zone of Plovdiv or catch a taxi to reach the Old Town of Plovdiv.
Entrance fee: adults – 6 BGN, students – 2 BGN, group tours (more than 10 people) – 5 BGN

Regional Museum of Natural History
The Regional Museum of Natural History is the second biggest museum in Bulgaria.  
Address: Hristo G. Danov Street 34, Plovdiv, Bulgaria
Working Hours: Mon – Sun, 9:30 AM to 6 PM
How to go? The museum is located in the centre of the town so it is easily accessible. All you need to do is to catch any of the following bus lines: 44, 99, 20, 93. Get off at “Ploshtad Suedinenie” station.  It is in 10 – 15 minutes walking distance from the museum.
Entrance fee: Exhibition tickets - adults 4 BGN, students 2 BGN. Every first Thursday of the month the entrance for the exhibition is for free of charge. Planetarium tickets - adults 10 BGN, students 7 BGN
Guided Tours in English – 30 BGN.

 

Regional Archaeological Museum
Plovdiv is known as one of the oldest cities in the world so don't forget to visit the Regional Archeological Museum - there is much to see! 
Address: "Saedinenie" square № 1, Plovdiv, Bulgaria
Working hours: Nov – May: Tue - Sat, 9:30 AM to 5 PM; May – Oct: Tue - Sun, 10 AM to 6 PM
How to go? Catch any of the following bus lines: 6, 15, 44, 99, 20, 93. Get off at “Ploshtad Suedinenie” station. It is in 5 minutes walking distance from the museum.
Entrance fees: adults - 10 BGN, students - 7 BGN
Guided tours in English – 30 BGN and by request (call 032/624 339)
Not allowed: Photo and video cameras, food and drinks

Keep in mind that when you visit museums you should bring with you your student book as proof that you are a student.
