About Georgian American University in Tbilisi

Let us start with the location of the Georgian American University! The university campus is in a very convenient central location in the capital city of Georgia – it is only 10 minutes walking distance from one of the main metro stations in the city and only five metro stations away from the most famous place in town, the Liberty Square.

And what about the campus? Picture this: 6,000 sq.m. building includes modern auditoriums, laboratories, a café and a gym! As of today, the university encompasses five different schools:

  • Medical School

Admission, entry requirements and university life

The Georgian Americal University offers three study programs in English:

  • Undergraduate Business Administration Program (BBA) – 4 years – 240 ECTS. Tuition fees are 4000 USD per year.
  • Undergraduate Business Administration Program (BBA) – 3 years – 180 ECTS. Tuition fees are 4500 USD per year.
  • Medicine (MD Program) – 6 years – 360 ECTS. Tuition gees are 6000 USD per year.

Every international applicant must submit a set of documents to the university, such as a copy of passport, a recent passport-sized photo, a copy of high school diploma, etc. Keep in mind that for some study programs there are limited number of places, so the earlier you apply – the better. Furthermore, international applicants must meet the English language requirements by either submitting an English language certificate or taking part in an interview organized by the university.

  • Must-visit places in Tbilisi include: Narikala Fortress, the National Gallery, the Georgian National Museum, the open-air museum of Ethnography, the cable car.
  • Famous universities in Tbilisi, besides the Georgian American University, include: Alte University, Caucasus International University and Georgian National University SEU
  • Mtatsminda Park, located on hill close to the city center, features an amusement park with amazing views over the capital city of Georgia!
