The team of Inter HECS – Study in Bulgaria, the biggest agency for recruitment of international students to Bulgarian universities, has prepared detailed information regarding admission to Plovdiv Medical University in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in 2024:

1. Plovdiv Medical University: Study programs offered in English language – International students apply usually for Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy in English.
2. Plovdiv Medical University: Deadlines for submission of the application documents – 1 March – 12 July 2024 for non-EU and non-EEA citizens; 1 March – 30 August 2024 for EU and EEA citizens; 1 March – 9 September 2024 for UK citizens and citizens of the Republic of Ireland.
3. Plovdiv Medical University: Entrance exam dates, retakes and fees – Candidates have to sit the entrance exam on 16 April, 21 May, 18 June, 16 July or 27 August 2024. The only retake date is 17 July 2024. The entrance exam fee is 200 EUR. The retake fee is 300 EUR. 
4. Plovdiv Medical University: Ranking day and ranking formula – Ranking of all candidates comes out on 13 September 2024. The maximum score is 42.00 and it includes an average score of the high school grades in Biology and Chemistry of the applicant as well as the entrance exam grades in Biology and Chemistry (multiplied by three). All grades are according to the Bulgarian grading scale from 2 to 6.
5. Plovdiv Medical University: Enrollment dates and deadlines – Students who are included in the ranking of accepted students need to enroll personally at Plovdiv Medical University by 27 September 2024 the latest.
