Apply to study Medicine in English at Burgas University in 2025!

Here you can find important details about admission in 2025:

1. Exam subjects: The entrance exam consists of two tests – Biology and Chemistry plus English Language Diagnostic test (only for non-native speakers who do not have any of the required valid English proficiency certificates). 
2. Exam dates: 3rd July, 31st July, 9th September 2025.
3. Exam location: Online.
4. Exam fee: 300 EUR. 
5. Ranking formula: Students are ranked according to their high school grades and entrance exam. It is calculated as follows: 

   [L] – The grade from the diploma in the official language of the country where the diploma was obtained.
   [B] – The grade from the entrance exam in Biology.
   [C] – The grade from the entrance exam in Chemistry.

   Ranking = (3 x B) x (3 x C) x L

   All grades are according to the Bulgarian grading scale from 2 (fail) to 6 (excellent). This means that the maximum ranking an applicant can have is 42.  The minimum to be considered for admission is 24 (this does not mean being included in the list of accepted students).

6. Ranking dates: First date: 9th July 2025, Second date: 6th August 2025, Third date: 13th September 2025.
7. Enrollment of accepted students:
   After first ranking – from 10th July 2025
   After second ranking – from 7th August 2025
   After third ranking – from 15th September to 3rd October 2025
